RFID AFRICA (RFID African Foundation) is a pan-African non-profit organization dedicated to accelerating the adoption of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies across industry, government, and academia. Based at the African University of Science and Technology, Abuja, we facilitate research, training, pilot projects, and collaboration between stakeholders to deliver solutions for asset tracking, inventory management, library systems, vaccine supply chain monitoring, and smart attendance systems in schools and institutions.
Vision: To be the African hub of reference for RFID & IoT solutions, bridging innovation, policy, and practical implementation.
Mission: To enhance local capacity, foster cross-sector partnerships, and facilitate technology transfer so that RFID solutions can improve efficiency, transparency, and the well-being of African communities.
