Know RFID Africa Initiative (KRAI) focus on the promotion and awareness through collaborations and partnerships amongst Government, Solutions Providers, End-users, Academia and other  relevant Stallholders.

Know RFID Africa Initiative (KRAI) will drive the RFID Pool of Experts (RPOE) through training and capacity building for university under graduates, graduates and industry professionals

With the Global RFID market estimated to reach over $22 billion by 2020, a majority of the emerging markets will be domiciled in Africa owing to the current shallow rates of adoption and coverage across the continent.

 

Programmes are in collaboration with;

• Federal Ministry of Science & Technology (FMST)on Capacity Building (Train the Trainers, Academia Test Laboratory Setup).

 

• National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) on Standards, Guidelines and Regulations Policy Development.

 

• National Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NPHCDA) on study and use of RFID for effective healthcare Delivery.

 

• Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) on the adoption and implementation of RFID for Business Growth and Sustainability.
