RFID African Foundation (RFID-AF)

​The RFID African Foundation promotes partnership and collaborations for RFID / IOT technology adoption across industry sectors in Africa through substantive interaction between government, academia, industry and end users.

In order to realise its mandate, The RFID African Foundation Endowment Fund was setup as a tax-deductible donation. The income generated from the RFID-AF Endowment Fund provides a steady source of income to help in the day to day running of the foundation activities.

The RFID African Foundation provides support for development of RFID Technology across vertical sectors of the African economy;Uses of the Endowment Fund are;

• Awareness Seminars and Capacity Building
• Industry and End-user Adoption Networking Events
• Academia Scholarships and Grants
• Foster Critical Research and Development
• Innovation and Test Laboratories Setup
• Deployment Standards,Guidelines and Regulations
• Maintenance of Office Space and facilities
